Standing at the point where Cheap Street meets The Green in the pretty town of
you will find the White Hart, an enchanting early 17th century public
house. Today, it is a charming haven for the parched and hungry, a traditional public
house with beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and flagstone floors, serving local
Badger ales and excellent food.
The White Hart is famous for food Our award winning head chef and his team work
hard to prepare delicious, home cooked meals containing locally sourced ingredients.
You will find a diverse menu with high quality traditional food on our menu. Our creative "Specials" board and our daily offers using fresh local and seasonal produce ensure our customers return to us time and again. We are delighted to support and buy our produce locally, such as meats from Parsons the butchers of Sherborne, eggs from Foots Farm in Bishops Caundle, salad from Woodfords Leaves in Dorchester,fresh seafood from M & J Seafood’s of Wimborne and not forgetting our superb Badger Ales from Hall and Woodhouse of Blandford to name but a few.
